THE rising number of stray animals has become a serious concern in the city. Herds of stray animals have become a common sight in the city, especially near heaps of garbage in residential and commercial places. These animals keep disrupting traffic movement on the roads, besides becoming a major reason behind mishaps. The Municipal Corporation authorities should take concrete steps to solve this problem at the earliest.

Repair road at the earliest

ONE side of the bypass road which connects Industrial Sectors 25 part-1, part-2, Sector 29 part-1 part 2 to the NH-44, is in a deplorable condition for many years. People, especially industrialists and shopkeepers, are facing a lot of problems due to the bad condition of roads. Political leaders had assured that broken roads would be repaired after the elections, but nothing had been done. As the election process has been completed, the authorities should allot tenders for construction of the road at the earliest. Anil Rewri, Panipat
