Haphazard parking irks residents

Residents are a harried lot due to haphazard vehicle parking on roads in the city’s main markets. As no assigned parking lot has been created near crowded markets, residents park their vehicles on the roads, which leads to traffic congestion and mishaps. Already encroached by shopkeepers, the roads get further congested due to the haphazard parking. The authorities concerned should create parking lots in the city to resolve the issue. Unauthorised carts risky on NH

A number of vehicles can be spotted around carts of unauthorised fruit and juice vendors on the Delhi-Ambala national highway. The presence of these vendors poses a risk to the safety of commuters. The authorities should take appropriate action. Raj Kumar, Pipli (Kurukshetra)
