Claiming that in the past 11 years, no new development work had been done in the state, he said the government should explain why the PM's visit was cancelled. “No major new projects have been launched. On the contrary, the rail coach factory, the international airport, and 10 national institutes, which were approved by the Congress government, have either been shifted to other states or the projects have been cancelled. Major projects approved during Congress rule continued to flow out of Haryana,” he said.
He alleged that there was no such thing as a government in the state. “BJP allies are saying that the CM is claiming that he lacks the power to even transfer a peon. Yesterday, Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar countered this statement by stating that the government will provide a government job to ASI Sandeep Lather's wife and cover the expenses of his children's education. Until now, such announcements were made by the CM," he said.
Before 2014, Haryana was considered number one in per capita income, investment, and employment. “Today, due to inflation, unemployment, drug abuse, poor law and order, and corruption, the state has lagged behind on every development scale,” he claimed.
