Will give OBCs their due, says Capt Yadav
Faridabad, August 3
Senior Congress leader Captain Ajay Singh Yadav alleged that the BJP rule in the past decade had resulted in the suppression of the backward classes in the state.
Addressing a programme, ‘Backward Classes Nyay Chaupal’ organised by the OBC cell of Congress at Ballabgarh on Saturday, he said the Congress was set to form the next government in the state and would ensure the revival of the rights and justice to the persons hailing from the Other Backward Class (OBC) category.
Yadav, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said while there was no doubt about the role of the OBCs in the development of the state and the society, people from the category had failed to get justice in the last decade.
He said it was perhaps due to the wrong policies and programmes of the BJP-led government. He claimed that the alleged misrule of the present government had resulted only in the oppression and suppression of the masses. This was the reason that people had made up their minds to oust the ruling party out of power in the Assembly poll and bring back the Congress rule. — TNS
