Gurugram, August 4
Promising to nurture cricketing talent in Nuh, Rohtak MP and senior Congress leader Deepender Hooda announced that if voted to power, the Congress government would constitute a separate cricket team of Nuh district.
Deepender said this during his ‘Haryana Maange Hisab’ yatra in the Ferozepur Jhirka area of Nuh today. He said the cricket association had already been contacted and the process was underway to form a team for next year.

Deepender called out the BJP government for “constant bias and indifference” to Nuh and announced that when if voted to power, the Congress would give everything Nuh was deprived of for a decade. He said the Congress would bring in railway connectivity, university and four-lane roads so that the district was on a par with other areas of the NCR.
Addressing the gathering, Deepender said he could sense that people in Haryana wanted a change and announced their intent in the last Lok Sabha elections. “Now we will not rest until we oust the BJP in the Assembly elections. The BJP will conspire and target the Congress, but the common man cannot be fooled any more. Vote for development,” he said.
MLA Aftab Ahmed, MLA Maman Khan and former MP Raj Babbar were present with him during the visit.
He said ever since the Congress had asked questions under the ‘Haryana Maange Hisaab’, the entire BJP was in shock. Prominent leaders of the party were running from Delhi to Chandigarh, but not giving any account. “On the contrary, out of the 10 works that the Chief Minister listed in Fatehabad, seven were done during the Hooda government. His lie was exposed, he suspended the officer to vent his anger and blamed them for everything. If the BJP government does not give account of its works, people of the state will settle their account in the October elections,” added Deepender.
He said if the Congress government was formed in the state, the elderly would be given old-age pension of Rs 6,000 per month, 300 units of free electricity to every family, LPG cylinders for women at Rs 500, old pension scheme for employees, medical treatment up to Rs 25 lakh will be given at the government’s expense.
