A woman allegedly abandoned her newborn girl in the laboratory of the civil hospital. On the complaint of the medical officer of the hospital, an FIR was registered against the unknown woman at sector 10 A police station.

According to the complaint, filed by medical officer Dr Devender Yadav, he was on duty in the civil hospital on Tuesday evening when he spotted a baby girl in the laboratory area. The baby is a newborn with no injuries. She was shifted to the NICU ward of the hospital for care. A senior police officer said they were searching for the accused woman.
