Police sources said she had lost her job in the lockdown and fled with her lover Amit. No suicide note was found from her room while her father Rakesh Jha in his complaint blamed Amit for his daughter’s death.

Following the complaint of Rakesh Jha, father of the deceased woman, an FIR has been registered against Amit under Section 306 (abatement to suicide) of the IPC at DLF Phase-3 police station.

“We are investigating from all the angles into the matter. We are trying to contact Amit for questioning. He will be nabbed soon,” said sub inspector Ram Niwas, the investigating officer.
