The Gurugram police have arrested a woman for illegally keeping and selling banned e-cigarettes and foreign cigarettes. A total of 26 boxes of banned e-cigarettes were seized.

The accused was identified as Neetu Chhikara, a resident of Civil Lines in Gurugram. According to the police, a team of the Sector 29 police station on Sunday arrested her for keeping and selling the banned e-cigarettes and foreign cigarettes at a kiosk near Machan Ahata.

“We have seized nine boxes of illegal e-cigarettes and 17 boxes of illegal foreign cigarettes from the possession of the accused. A case was registered against her under relevant sections of the Cigarette and Tobacco Products Act,” said a police spokesperson.
