The crime was perpetrated when Rishi Pal and Usha were going on a motorbike. When they reached near Girawar village, a car forced them to stop.

Armed youths disembarked from the car and opened several rounds of fire at Usha and her father. Then, they fled from the spot in their car.

Usha reportedly died on the spot while Rishi Pal was rushed to a hospital in Bahadurgarh from where he was referred to PGIMS in Rohtak following his critical condition.

Phool Kanwar, SHO, Aasodha police station, said a case under relevant Sections of the IPC had been registered against unidentified persons on the complaint of Usha’s father. “Efforts are on to ascertain the cause behind the attack and to nab the assailants,” he added.
