Woman’s body found in fields of Karnal village

Panic gripped Uncha Samana and nearby villages on Sunday afternoon after a semi-naked, decomposed body of a woman was found in the bushes of agricultural fields along the National Highway-44. The words “Neetu Kumari” along with the sign of two hearts were found tattooed on her left arm.

As per information, labourers working in fields spotted the body and informed landowners Ramesh and Ravinder, both brothers, who live in Model Town, Karnal. The brothers alerted the police. The police teams and forensic experts reached the spot and collected evidence. “The woman’s age is around 35 years. Efforts are on to establish her identity,” said Garuav Punia, SHO, Madhuban.
