With International Women’s Day around the corner, a panel discussion was held on the ‘Woman Question’ by the humanities faculty of SRM University on Thursday.

The discussion highlighted multifaceted aspects of women’s issues, ranging from political participation to financial health, mental wellbeing, unconventional roles, feminism, reproductive rights and notable achievements.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
