The police on Wednesday initiated work to eliminate these black spots. Barricades have been installed at the Salhawas opening to prevent accidents. It will help prevent road mishaps there. A few days ago, the traffic officials conducted a close inspection of the black spots using a drone camera.

Inspector Anoop Kumar, in charge of the traffic police station, stated that in addition to the black spots identified, other areas with a high incidence of accidents were also being evaluated. Necessary measures would be implemented to improve safety at these locations as well, he added.

“Experts are being consulted to effectively address all black spots. We have installed barricades at the Salhawas openings on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway to ensure safe travel. Strict action will be taken against those who tamper with or remove these barricades,” he added.
