Pehowa is considered a place of great religious importance and lakhs of people reach Pehowa every year from different parts of the country to perform post-death rituals for their family members and also offer prayers to their ancestors. Efforts are being made to provide all the facilities to the devotees and visitors.

Pehowa Municipal Committee Chairperson Ashish Chakrapani said the project was discussed long ago and now the work has started. On the lines of the Aarti Sthala developed at Brahma Sarovar, an Aarti Sthal is being developed in Pehowa.
