Dr Rahul Khanna, officiating Principal, said the initiative was taken by the Haryana State AIDS Control Society. More than 300 students participated in different activities. An awareness lecture on HIV-AIDS and TB was delivered by Dr Rahul Singh, in-charge of the club. A documentary titled “Teachaids” was also showcased. A poster-making competition was also organised.
BMU holds seminar on taxation
Rohtak: The faculty of law at Baba Mastnath University (BMU) organised a seminar on ‘Insurance Law and Taxation’. Dr Naresh Mahipal from the University of Delhi explained the basic principle of insurance law, formation of insurance contract and those entitled to get claim. Dr Jawant Saini from MD University gave a detailed overview of the matters related to the Income Tax Act-1961. Dr Raj Kumar, head and dean of the law department, BMU, described various concepts of insurance laws, including marine insurance and public liability insurance Act.
