The team confiscated the goods, which were kept on the road. The team removed encroachments from both sides of the road. As soon as the team began removing the encroachments, several shopkeepers began removing their goods from the road and placing them inside their shops.

“Encroachment narrows roads and streets, causing traffic congestion and inconvenience to the public. Traffic is already disrupted during the festive season. Therefore, keeping in mind the public inconvenience, an anti-encroachment drive is being carried out in the twin cities,” said Govind Sharma. He said later the team removed the encroachments from the Auto Market.

He added that the shopkeepers were warned of fines if they placed their goods on the road again. According to information, on the instructions of Mahabir Parsad, three teams have been formed to remove the encroachments from the twin cities.
