Dr Meenu Jain, officiating principal of DAV College for Girls, Yamunanagar, retired on February 28 after completing 39 years of service. She held office as the officiating principal for about two years.

Before assuming charge, she worked as a professor in the Economics Department of the college for 37 years.

Dr KR Bhardwaj, patron, Retired College Principals-Teachers Federation (RCPTF), Yamunanagar zone, said Dr Jain was now a member of RCPTF.

Dr Jain was welcomed by RCPTF, Yamunanagar zone, president Dr Dalbir Singh, secretary Dr Nirmal Singh and patron Dr Bhardwaj. The general secretary of the state body of the federation, Dr PR Tyagi, presented a bouquet to her, and wished her a long life on behalf of the federation.
