The Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Yamunanagar chapter, recently organised its general body meeting.

Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora and Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta were the chief guests at the event.

HCCI state general secretary Raj Chawla, HCCI Yamunanagar chapter president Rajesh Sondhi, HCCI patron Subhash Garg, and treasurer Deepak Sondhi were among the attendees of the meeting.

In his address, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the HCCI, and emphasised the importance of coordination between trade organisations and the administration in driving the city’s development.

He said the administration would continue to extend support for the welfare of the business community. Arora said the HCCI had consistently raised traders’ voice.

Chawla said the HCCI had become a strong voice for traders across the state, adding that the proactive work of the Yamunanagar chapter had set a great example for others.

Chapter president Rajesh Sondhi welcomed all members and other guests. He said the HCCI was like a family, where the goal was to move forward together.

The vote of thanks was delivered by HCCI state vice-president Aditya Chawla.

The chief guests were felicitated with mementos at the end of the programme.
