Yamunanagar MC to lay pipeline to resolve waterlogging problem

Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora and Mayor Suman Bahamani started construction of this development work in the presence of Municipal Councillor of this ward Harjeet Anand.
The MLA directed the officials of the MCYJ to complete the work of laying the pipeline as soon as possible and to pay special attention to the quality of the work.
Mayor Suman Bahamani said that the work of laying the pipeline would be done from Kapila medical store to Dr Arun Agarwal clinic in Vishnu Nagar of Yamunanagar.
She claimed that there would be no problem of waterlogging in this area after the laying of the pipeline.
She further said that their aim was not only to get the construction work done, but also to provide basic facilities to every ward. “This development work will provide relief to the public from the problem of water drainage and ensure a better standard of living,” said the Mayor.
She gave strict instructions to the agencies concerned and contractors to use high quality material in the development works.
“Compromise on quality will not be tolerated and the engineers of the MCYJ should complete the work within the stipulated time period,” added the Mayor.
She said that drinking water, paved streets, drains, sewer line and electricity were the basic needs of all citizens and they were trying to fulfil all these needs. “Our effort is to make arrangements for paved streets, drains, electricity and drinking water in twin cities. These facilities will be made available as soon as possible,” the Mayor said.
MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora said that it was the priority of their government to ensure that every colony of the city witnesses development.
He said that he was constantly working in coordination with the authorities of the MCYJ and local administration to ensure that the people of Yamunanagar got every facility.
He added that the residents of the city would soon get the gift of many more projects.
