A team of the Anti-Vehicle Theft Cell, Yamunanagar, has recovered seven stolen motorcycles.

The team has arrested a person in connection with these recoveries.

The accused has been identified as Wasim of Mukarampur village of Yamunanagar district.

Sumit Kumar, incharge of the Anti-Vehicle Theft Cell, said that they got information that a man had stolen several motorcycles.

He said that after getting information, he formed a team comprising Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar and Randhir Singh.

He said that the team arrested the man from near Behrampur village.

He added that the accused had been identified as Wasim of Mukarampur village of the district.

He said that seven stolen motorcycles were recovered from his possession.

“The accused was produced in a district court in Jagadhri on Saturday, where he was sent to judicial custody,” said Sumit Kumar, incharge of Anti-Vehicle Theft Cell.
