Youth festival concludes at Mullana education institute

This year’s edition drew an overwhelming response with 7,051 participants from over 100 institutions affiliated to more than 45 universities across India.
The festival was a confluence of talent, diversity and youthful energy. Among the prominent participating universities and institutions were Jawaharlal Nehru University (Delhi), Amity University (Noida), Panjab University (Chandigarh), Pt. BD Sharma University of Health Sciences (Rohtak), IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (Kapurthala), Chandigarh University (Mohali and Uttar Pradesh), Chitkara University, GD Goenka University, Geeta University (Panipat), Guru Kashi University, JECRC University, Kurukshetra University, Lovely Professional University (Phagwara), MM(DU) Mullana, MMU Solan, PGI Rohtak and Vivekanand Global University (Jaipur), among many others.
To uphold the spirit of fairness, the Overall Trophy was awarded in two separate categories – one for guest universities and the other for constituent institutions of Maharishi Markandeshwar.
In the guest universities category, Chandigarh University, Mohali, was declared Overall Champion, with Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, as First Runners-up and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, as Second Runners-up.
In the Maharishi Markandeshwar category, the MM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (MMIMSR) won the Overall Trophy, while MM Engineering College took the First Runners-up position and the MM Institute of Computer Technology and Business Management (MCA) came Second Runners-up.
A spokesperson of Maharishi Markandeshwar said the festival, packed with electrifying performances, competitions, workshops and cultural showcases, concluded on a high note with a promise to return “stronger and bigger than ever in the coming year”.
