YouTube removes Haryana singer's song on SYL following complaint by YouTuber Rajesh Kundu

Haryanavi singer Ramkesh Jeewanpuria’s song on the theme of Satluj Yamuna Link (SYL) canal has been removed by YouTube from the singer’s official YouTube channel.

Jeewanpuria has brought out the song to Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s posthumously released song on the SYL.

Hisar-based YouTuber Rajesh Kundu has objected to the usage of clip of an interview of a Haryana farmer in Jeewanpuria’s song stating that the singer has used the taken a video clip from his YouTube channel ‘The Ink’ and ‘The Agro’ used in a wrong manner.

Kundu said that the farmer was vouching for the unity of Haryana and Punjab in the interview with him during the farmers’ agitation. But his clip was shown in Jeewanpurwala’s song, which talked about divisions in Haryana and Punjab on SYL.

“It is a completely wrong portrayal of the feelings of the farmers,” Kundu alleged.

Rajesh Kundu, has served a legal notice to the Jind-based singer Jeewanpurwala, and also wrote to YouTube regarding the content piracy. Following the report, YouTube removed the song from the official YouTube channel of the singer’s platform.

Jeewanpuria’s song SYL had taken a dig at the brotherhood in the farmers’ movement of Haryana and Punjab and used confrontational language, he stated.

YouTube has also removed the song of Sidhu Moosewala on the SYL issue following a complaint by the government.
