As many as 545 Himachalis stranded in various parts of Gujarat returned via a special train at the Una railway station this afternoon. Three passengers from Gurdaspur district in Punjab also came here in the same train.

Additional DC Arindham Chaudhary said 210 belonged to Kangra, Mandi (82), Hamirpur (74), Chamba (37), Shimla (40) , Kullu (7), Bilaspur (23), Solan (13), Sirmour (10), Una (47), and one each from Kinnaur and Lahul-Spiti districts.

The passengers deboarded district-wise. A preliminary health screening for the segregation of symptomatic persons was done. After that, the passengers were given packed food and water before being sent back to their districts in buses. — OC
