1 die, 3 hurt in road accidents at Kangra district

One person lost his life, while three others suffered injuries in three different road accidents in the district during the last 24 hours.
Kangra Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan said the victim, Munish Thakur, a resident of Garh village, died on the spot at Chailian, after his motorocycle rammed into a car. He said the police have registered a case under Section 279 and 304 (A) of the IPC.
The Superintendent of Police said Rohit (30), and Vishal (30), both residents of Palampur, were seriously injured on Kangra bypass after their motorcycle was hit by a truck. He said the duo was rushed to the Tanda Medical College for treatment.
He said Manoj Kumar of Kaloon village, was injured in a hit-and-run case at Guli Nazad Shantala. — OC
