Shimla, November 11

A 60-year-old man was killed in a fire that broke out at his residence here, an official of the Himachal Pradesh Disaster Management Department said on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Kishore Bajaj, a resident of SDA Colony in the Vikasnagar area of Shimla city, he added. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, he said.

The Shimla District Emergency Operation Centre informed that the blaze had been put out. PTI
