DSP Amit Sharma said a police team, headed by head constable Vinod Kumar, laid a trap on a tip-off. The accused travelling in a car (PB10CC-0033) was signalled to stop, but he tried to speed away. The police seized the car and arrested him. During search, 1.1 kg of charas packed in a polythene bag was recovered. The investigation is in progress, he added.
