The police said the accident occurred late Friday night when the two had stepped out for a drive from Bhadrash after dinner and were heading towards the Rohru side. As the vehicle approached a sharp bend near Khanash Dhar, Dorje, who was at the wheel, reportedly lost control, sending the car veering off the road. Dorje died on the spot, while Negi sustained injuries.
