The Forest Department provided the saplings, and Youth Mandal Mandhol ensured logistical support. Deodar trees, known for combating air pollution and improving biodiversity, were planted to address climate change, air quality and soil erosion.

“This initiative is a testament to our commitment to a greener future. We hope to inspire others to undertake similar efforts,” said Asha Chauhan, President of Jhouta Mahila Club.

The event saw active involvement from all sections of the village, including women, youth and social organisations. Organisers plan to make this an annual event, aiming for wider participation from nearby areas. This initiative reflects the power of collective action for environmental preservation.
