All winning teams were felicitated with trophies and medals during the closing ceremony. The event was presided over by Soumya Sambasivan, DIG, Northern Range, Dharamsala, with VK Yadav, Principal of DAV Public School, Palampur, as the guest of honour. The dignitaries were welcomed and honoured with traditional Himachali tokens — Chamba thaal, cap, shawl and mementoes — by the host school principal, Rashmi Jamwal.

In her address, DIG Sambasivan urged students to maintain continuity in sports alongside academics. She underscored the importance of education in nurturing human values and emphasised that sports play a vital role in holistic development, physical fitness and mental focus.

The ceremony concluded with a colourful cultural programme, featuring local performances, including the Kangra folk dance ‘Jamkada’ and ‘Himachali Nati’, which were met with resounding applause from the audience.
