In his address, Agnihotri underlined the state government’s priority on education and healthcare, noting that these reforms have propelled Himachal Pradesh into the top five states in the country for education. He highlighted that the state, which once ranked 21st, now stands third nationally in education rankings under the present Congress government. Announcing further reforms, he declared that the government would soon fill 13,000 teaching posts, thereby strengthening educational infrastructure across the state.

Acknowledging the contribution of private institutions in rural areas, he commended their role in spreading the light of knowledge. Congratulating the college on its milestone, he encouraged students to move ahead with hard work, discipline and dedication.

In recognition of the students’ cultural presentations, the Deputy CM announced a grant of Rs 51,000 from his discretionary fund. He also joined a plantation drive on the campus.
