14 BDOs shifted by Himachal Govt in major reshuffle

Shimla, July 26

The Himachal Pradesh government has transferred 14 block development officers (BDOs) with immediate effect on the orders of Priyatu Mandal, Secretary (Rural Development).

A notification regarding the order was issued by the state government on Thursday. As per the notification, Shyam Singh, presently posted at Development Block Sadar in Mandi, has been transferred as Block Development Officer Nagrota Surian, Kangra. Ajay Kumar Sood, posted at Development Block Shillai, District Sirmaur, goes as Block Development Officer, Development Block Sadar, Mandi. BDO Rampur Sheela Thakur has been posted as BDO Balh, Mandi.

BDO Keylong Babnesh Chadda goes as BDO Bali-Chowki, Mandi; BDO Kunihar, Solan Tanmay Kanwar is BDO Narkanda, Shimla; BDO Bangana, Una, Subhash Chand has been transferred to Fatehpur, Kangra; BDO Churag, Mandi, Sparsh has been transferred as BDO, Basantpur, Shimla; and Kehar Singh presently posted as BDO Basantpur, Shimla has been transferred to the state headquarters against the vacancy of Training Reserve.

Sushil Kumar presently posted at Development Block Sadar (Bilaspur), goes as BDO, Bangana, District Una; Surinder Kumar, presently posted at Development Block Fatehpur, District Kangra, goes as BDO, Pangi, Chamba; and BDO Nihri, Mandi, Sanjeev Puri has been posted as BDO Jhandutta, Bilaspur.

Additionally, Om Prakash, presently posted as PD-cum-District Mission Manager (DMM), National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Solan, has been transferred to Chamba. He will be holding the additional charge of District Development Officer, Chamba.

Ashmita Thakur has been transferred as PD-cum-DMM, NRLM, Hamirpur, and will also hold the additional charge of DDO, Hamirpur. Chander Vir has been transferred as PD-cum-DMM, NRLM, Kangra, and he will also hold the additional charge of District Development Officer, Kangra.
