15 injured in bus mishap near Solan

A bus rolled down into a 'khud' in Solan district, leaving many travellers injured on Monday.

Around 15 passengers were injured when a private bus rolled down from the road at Jobi village near Luharghat on the border of Solan and Bilaspur districts. The injured were rushed for treatment to AIIMS, Bilaspur.

According to information, the passengers were going for a wedding ceremony. The bus was on its way from Bashla village in Bilaspur to Ramshahr in Solan district for the ceremony but the bus overturned before it could reach the destination. As per the preliminary reports, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve.

Local residents rushed to the spot when they heard the passengers crying out for help following the accident. The local helped in rescuing the passengers and shifting them to hospital.
