As many as 150 people were screened during a free health check-up camp organised by Max Hospital at Indira Gandhi Sports Complex here on Sunday. The camp was inaugurated by MLA Harish Janartha. It aimed to raise awareness about the importance of regular health monitoring, early diagnosis and lifestyle changes to prevent chronic diseases.

“Our goal is to take healthcare beyond hospital walls,” said Dr Pinak Moudgil, executive vice-president of Max Hospital. “Regular health check-ups play a crucial role in the early detection and prevention of illnesses. Most lifestyle-related conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes and joint problems, can be managed or even prevented through early detection and timely intervention. Through such camps, we aim to make people more aware of their health status and encourage them to adopt healthier lifestyles for long-term wellbeing,” he added.
