A 18-year-old girl died by suicide after hanging herself in a rented room at Jogdhar village near the helipad at Sangrah. The deceased has been identified as Ambika, a resident of Gattadhar village, who was a student of BA first year at Sangrah college.

The victim’s uncle told the police that he had come to meet her on Sunday morning, but she did not open the door despite knocking for a long time so he broke the door and went inside.

He said the landlord about the matter, who later called the police. Confirming the incident, Sangrah DSP Mukesh Kumar said the body has been sent for the post-mortem. The mobile of the deceased has also been sent for a forensic examination.
