An 18-year-old motorcyclist, Monu from Jhikdu village, lost his life in a tragic accident involving a tipper truck near the Industrial Training Institute on the Chamba-Saho road. The accident took place around 4 pm as Monu, a student at a private ITI in Sarol, was heading home after classes. His bike reportedly skidded and collided with a tipper truck approaching from Chamba, resulting in his immediate death. A large crowd gathered at the scene, and the police were promptly alerted. Upon arrival, a police team investigated and questioned witnesses. Monu's body was taken to Chamba Medical College, where a postmortem was yet to be conducted. Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is ongoing
