Shimla, October 5

Two women were killed on the spot while three others were injured when their car (CH04 B 5870) fell into a 50-metre gorge near Nalaban in Nankhari area Shimla district, about 165 km from here, this afternoon.

The deceased were Alma (57), wife of Krishan Chand, who was driving the car, and Garja Devi (47), wife of Prem Singh, both of Aadu village (Nankheri). A case has been registered and investigations were underway. — TNS
