SDM Baijnath Chhavi Nanta said over 500 persons, who had migrated from Bara Bhangal to Baijnath before the onset of winters, were stranded at Bir as they could not move back in March to their native village because of lockdown.

Now the state government has allowed to them to go to their native village. She said 25 persons were sent today and the remaining persons would also be sent back in batches as per directions of DC Kangra. — OC
