The approvals were granted at the 30th meeting of the authority held here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The setting up of these units would provide employment to about 2,830 persons.
The government reiterated its commitment to attracting investment to make Himachal the most favoured destination for industrial development. Some of the new proposals approved by the authority included from M/s Bauji Industries Private Limited at Kirpalpur in Solan district for manufacturing capsules, tablets, liquid; M/s Jai Pali Infra Private Limited Unit II at Manjholi in Nalagarh of Solan for the manufacturing of PUF panels; M/s Rich Printers Private Limited at Baddi in Solan for manufacturing corrugated boxes; M/s Richlyns Healthcare at Bhud in Baddi of Solan for manufacturing medicines; M/s Indo Spirits in Nahan tehsil of Sirmaur district for manufacturing IMFL and country-made liquor; and M/s Sri Kaumudhi Textiles Private Limited at Chanour in Kangra for manufacturing textile fabric towel.
Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan and Additional Chief Secretaries KK Pant, Onkar Chand Sharma and RD Nazeem attended the meeting.
