The State Single Window Clearance and Monitoring Authority on Tuesday approved 25 industrial proposals with an investment of about Rs 2,216.93 crore that would generate employment opportunities for around 5,027 persons in the state.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday chaired the 29th meeting of the authority and approved 25 project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and undertaking substantial expansion of the existing units

Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Additional Chief Secretary Onkar Chand Sharma and Principal Secretary, Industries, RD Nazeem, besides other senior officers attended the meeting.
