Twenty-five Covid cases, including 17 from the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh belt, were detected in Solan district today, taking the tally to 1,407 with 417 active cases.

There were eight cases from the power house colony, Rabon, Salogra and Kather in Solan and two from Kothi and Kund villages in Arki. They comprised inter-state travellers, direct contacts of positive persons and those having influenza-like infection, said Medical Officer Health, Solan, Dr NK Gupta.

In the BBN area, cases emerged from Panjhera, Johog, Nalagarh, Ramshehar, Omaxe Parkwood apartments, hotel Ashish, housing board’s phase-III colony at Baddi, Shiwalik Nagar, Hill View apartments, Sheetalpur and Barotiwala. An Axis Bank employee from Baddi and an employee of Jal Shakti Vibhag from Ramshehar were among those who tested positive.
