The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, reaffirmed that the sustained flow of investment reflects Himachal Pradesh’s standing as a preferred industrial destination.

The Chief Minister directed that each proposal should include a detailed skill-wise employment plan, and that efforts should be made to attract labour-intensive and green industries, particularly in the IT, ITeS, and tourism sectors. He also instructed officials to review the existing lease transfer rates in industrial areas and to frame a conversion policy for industrial plots located in inner areas.
