Career Point University, Hamirpur, has once again brought laurels to the state and the nation as three of its faculty members have been recognized among the world’s top 2 per cent scientists in the prestigious annual list released by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier.

The university’s distinguished scientists — Dr Ajay Sharma and Dr Naveen Thakur — have been featured in the 2025 edition of this global ranking, which evaluates scientists worldwide based on the impact, quality, and citations of their research publications. Dr Rahul Sharma, Associate Professor of Chemistry, was earlier included in the 2024 edition of the same list.
