Shimla, September 26

The state registered 317 Covid cases on Saturday, taking the tally to 13,996. Besides, seven persons died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Three deaths were reported in Kangra, two in Shimla and one each in Una and Mandi.

The highest number of 77 cases were reported in Solan, followed by 55 in Kangra, 49 in Shimla, 40 in Mandi, 26 in Bilaspur, 21 in Una, 13 each in Sirmaur and Kullu, 12 in Chamba, six in Hamirpur and two in Kinnaur.

Three dead in Kangra

Fifty-five persons tested positive for Covid while three patients died at Tanda medical college in Kangra on Saturday.

Two deceased belonged to Una district and one to Kangra district. A 70-year-old man from Daulatpur village in Kangra died Saturday morning.

13 cases in Sirmaur

Thirteen Covid cases, including six in Nahan, were detected in Sirmaur district on Saturday. An employee of a cracker factory at Dilman village in Pacchad was among those found infected with the virus.

77 cases in Solan

Seventy-seven persons tested positive for Covid in Solan district.
