Sirmaur became the second district to cross the 1,000 mark in Covid cases today with 32 new cases being detected today.

The maximum of 23 cases were detected in Paonta Sahib, including eight from the forest colony. Others were reported from Adarsh Colony, Badripur, Shamsherpur, Naya Gaon, Rampur Majri, Canal Raod, Tarruwala, Sant colony, Belwali and Kolar in Paonta Sahib sub-division, informed DC Sirmaur, Dr RK Pruthi. He added that 11 cases from Tirupati healthcare centre were also detected in Paonta Sahib and the centre has been closed for 48-hours.

Two cases from Nohradhar, one from Sangrah sub-division, five from Nahan and one from Churuwadhar in Rajgarh were also detected.
