The university awarded 223 undergraduate, 78 postgraduate and 19 doctoral degrees across 47 disciplines, along with eight university medals and two gold medals for academic excellence.
Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Jaswinder Singh highlighted the institution’s recent achievements, including ICAR accreditation for BSc (Hons) Agriculture, modern infrastructure upgrades and the implementation of NEP 2020. He credited the progress to the guidance of The Kalgidhar Society under President Baba Dr Davinder Singh and Adviser Dr Neelam Kaur.
Chief guest Prof (Dr) Harmeet Singh Rehan, Director-Professor, Lady Hardinge Medical College, lauded the university’s value-based education in a serene environment and urged students to focus on research in advanced fields like robotics, satellite technology and biotechnology. Guest of honour Sardar Bhajan Singh praised the institution’s growth in the remote hills of Sirmaur, while Dr Gurpreet Singh, COE, University of Delhi, stressed the significance of technology and Eternal’s holistic approach to education.
Baba Dr Davinder Singh shared the institution’s vision of blending education with spirituality, recalling the contributions of Sant Attar Singh, Sant Teja Singh and Padma Shri Baba Iqbal Singh. He also underlined the message of global peace through value-based learning.
Adviser Dr Neelam Kaur, in her closing address, emphasised women’s empowerment and outlined upcoming student-focused projects before the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
