33 medical officers promoted as BMO

The government has promoted 33 medical officers (MOs) to the post of Block Medical Officer (BMO) on a regular basis.

Welcoming the decision, the president of Himachal Medical Officers Association (HMOA), Rajesh Rana, said the promotion had been done nearly after two years. “We want to express our gratitude to the government for giving the due promotions to the doctors,” said Dr Rana.

The promoted doctors include Dr Puneet Sharma, Dr Kavita Mahajan, Dr Rajender Singh Tekta, Dr Gurmail Singh, Dr Sudhi Gupta, Dr Vandana Devkarna, Dr Anil Kumar, Dr Jay Parkash, Dr Anita Sharma, Dr Veena Sangal, Dr Rakesh Goel, Dr Alok Singla, Dr Ramesh Kumar Rattu, Dr Anil Kumar, Dr Anant Vijay Raghav, Dr Sunil Kakkar, Dr Ajay Deol, Dr Harinder Pal Singh, Dr Ankush Ghai, Dr Seema Ragha and Dr Dharam Pal.

The others include Dr Richa Mehrotra, Dr Bindu Sud, Dr Aman Dua, Dr Lal Singh, Dr Yogesh Gupta, Dr Kavita Thakur, Dr Kavi Raj Negi, Dr Mahesh Jaswal, Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, Dr Tepender Singh, Dr Sanjay Ranaut and Dr Rajesh Thakur.
