The CMO said here on Wednesday that the process to prepare ABHA cards was started in three major hospitals of the district — Dr Radhakrishanan Government Medical College and Hospital; Community Health Centre, Tauni Devi; and CHC, Sujanpur.

People were advised to bring their ABHA cards along with them while visiting hospitals or they may face delay in availing health services, the CMO added.

The ABHA card is a unique identity that facilitates a health locker to receive, store and share medical records from health services across the country.

Dr Chaudhary said 289 hospitals were registered under the ABHA programme, and 330 doctors had profession IDs under the scheme.

Other doctors would also be enrolled under the scheme at the earliest, the CMO noted.
