4 Punjab gangsters of Harpreet Happo gang arrested in McLeodganj

Were wanted in a case of murder committed in Kharar on February 1

Four associates of the Harpreet Happo gang of Punjab have been apprehended by the McLeodganj police. These criminals were wanted in a murder case registered at the police station in Kharar, SAS Nagar, on February 1.

Kangra SSP Shallini Agnihotri said that the vehicle used in the crime was located in Dharamsala. These criminals had been on the run after the murder in Punjab. On getting information from Punjab Police, the Kangra Police in McLeodganj nabbed these criminals. Two country-made pistols, 10 live rounds and two magazines have been seized from them.

They have been taken into custody by the Anti-Gangster Task Force, Punjab Police and further investigation is in progress. Preliminary investigation reveals that they were tasked to do target killing in Punjab by their foreign-based gang leaders. A probe is under way to determine local links and connections in Kangra district, the SSP said.
