45-year-old man murdered in Dharamsala village; younger son missing

The police took the body into custody and sent it to the Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital at Tanda for post-mortem.
The deceased was identified as Vineet Kumar, who lived with his son in Tarela. He worked at Fortis Hospital in Kangra.
Preliminary investigations revealed that his relationship with his wife had been strained for the past few years and he lived separately with their two sons.
Meanwhile, the younger son has been missing since his father’s murder. His mobile phone was switched off, said elder brother.
Vineet’s elder son found his body lying in a pool of blood with severe head injuries on Monday night. He informed the local panchayat and police about the incident. A team from Dharamsala police station reached the spot immediately and took the body into custody. A team of forensic experts was also called.
The motive behind the murder was not known and the sharp-edged weapon was also yet to be recovered.
A case has been registered against unknown persons further investigations have been launched.
