A team led by Tehbazaari Inspector Jyoti Prakash conducted rounds of the market areas, asking vendors to present valid permits. Since the vendors failed to provide these, officials confiscated their goods and removed them from the area.

Jyoti Prakash highlighted that many unauthorised vendors come from states and their presence causes congestion and overcrowding in the markets.
