500 examined at free medical camp

Sumit Singha Memorial Charitable Society, in collaboration with the CMC, Ludhiana, organised a two-day medical camp at Kotgarh Civil Hospital. This medical camp was led by Dr Allen Joseph. About 500 persons were examined by specialists for issues related to cardiology, paediatrics, general medicine, community medicine, ENT, dermatology, orthopedic, gynecology, etc. People were provided with free medicines. For women, pap smear test was also conducted free of cost in the camp.

Society president Uma Singha said the society was committed to organising such health camps. MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore was also present at the closing ceremony of this camp. Society members Sucheta Thakur, Bhupendra, Sundar Singh Negi, Raman, Jeevan, Sonam, Abhimanyu, Saluj, Kanika, Shreya, Mahima, Naruj, Rajul, Ankur, Rachit, Arush, Ankit, Vikas, Amar, Sahil, Saurabh, Dinesh, Pradeep, Deepak, etc., were present on the occasion. “The camp proved immensely beneficial for the people of the area,” said society president Uma Singha.
